This post is just for one person really. One of my oldest and dearest friends Lindsey who I stalk constantly, reading her blogs and who I give the hardest time to when she does not update them regularly.I can't help it---I don't have kids....yet...and I just love love reading about all of the things going on in her life, how her kids are growing, and reading the funny things that they say.Soooo, that being said---this post is for her since it has almost been 6 months since I have started my own blog.
We moved into our "first home" probably in late June if memory serves me.Jason still had a few things left to do, but the house had come a long long way since he first started this little "renovation" project.I love this house!!It's not to big and really when I say it is not to big---it really is not too big (let me remind you we only have *gasp* 1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms, but I love this house. It is perfect for two people and two small dogs.We are still working on the outside of the house and there is only one room left that we have not really finished---the back mudroom, but for now it can just stay the way that it is.I'm sure one day Jason will have the time to get started again. We both have been incredibly busy at our store's so for right now everything is pretty much at a stand still.
Here are some pictures that I took of our little house now that we have moved in.There are not very many pictures on the wall, Jason thinks it is because he likes things plain and simple, but truth be told I refuse to hang up pictures when I know that they will just be coming down anyways in 3 months.Which brings me to my 2nd part of this story----We bought another house.Just when our lives were starting to shift back into normal, just when I was starting to see him more in the evenings, just when I could maybe start thinking about planning this wedding---he found another deal.A deal that I even admit was to good to pass up.So, all I can say is--here we go again.
Jason and I (uh yem-clear throat...Jason) have been remodeling a house he bought last year. This house is one of those cozy little places that you can just picture being "your 1st house together". I just didn't think it would take this long to get our 1st house finished. Jason has completely gutted, rewired, re-plumbed, drywalled, painted, scraped, installed and added every aspect to this cozy little bungalow. I will definitely have to post some "before" pictures, but so far here are some pictures of things that are coming along. It hopefully won't be to much longer before we can move in. I can't tell you how excited I am to actually have the washer and dryer all on one floor again!!
